Death's Delivery Man: Pestilence if you will
I hear Death’s call.
I hear it day and night.
But if I am to care,
I can tell you I won’t tonight.
Death dare not touch me,
Conquest dare not claim me,
Even War will not face me.
For I fear none of them.
I bring death,
I end wars,
Conquest stops in its tracks at the sight of my wings.
No one dares face Pestilence,
For they know who awaits after I place my mark.
Could you be brave enough,
To stare in my eyes,
And stay in my presence for more than a minute?
I know you feel your throat burns,
Your skin becomes pocked,
If you stand with me,
I’ll soon hand you over to death.
